Fair Housing

The Nebraska Fair Housing Act states that it is a policy of the State of Nebraska that there shall be no discrimination in the acquisition, ownership, possession, or enjoyment of housing throughout the State of Nebraska in accordance with Article I, section 25, of the Constitution of Nebraska. All housing transactions are covered, and include the making or purchasing of loans, or providing other financial assistance for purchasing, constructing, improving, repairing, or maintaining a dwelling. Housing transactions cover property secured by residential real estate; and housing transactions include the selling, brokering, or appraising of residential real property.
